Bread, Milk, and Toilet Paper
As a Washington area resident I should have run out and purchased these this morning because that is what we do when snow is forecast. However, since only an inch is called for there is really no need, but I’m sure the stores are packed. The first flakes have started to fall and although they are small they are coming down quite seriously. We’ve all got our fingers crossed for a snow day tomorrow. Especially me because then I can go off to riding lessons with a clear conscious since John’s cub scout meeting and my band booster club meeting would both be cancelled.

We got maybe half an inch. What did you get?

Maybe an inch. Plus a two hour delay which is the worst thing possible for Elementary students on a Monday because instead of coming home at the regular early Monday time of 12:30 we are in school until 3:30. I saw we because I’m subbing today and will have to adjust sub plans that were designed for the morning.

I’m not sure how the whole trackback thing works, but I did reference this page on my blog. After 20 something years of living here, I still scream “Bread! Milk! Toilet Paper!” when there’s snow…like today!
